UIL Girls State Tournament

I got a chance to shoot some basketball last weekend.  1A through 5A, the action was fantastic.

Check out more from me, and my colleagues, here.

TCW: Slam-A-Lution 2

As promised, here are some shots from the latest TCW show.  You can read more about the results here.

These guys (and gals) love what they do and their hard work and training really show during their matches.

For those of you in Austin, their next show is on February 27.  I recommend giving it a shot.  You won't be disappointed.

Total Championship Wrestling

I hung out with the TCW crew at their Tuesday night practices last month.  It was a blast watching these guys train and get ready for their show.  They are a very talented bunch.

Special thanks to JP and Papa Don for welcoming me in and letting me shoot.  I'll post some shots from their latest show in the next few days.

Capital Area Food Bank of Texas

Here's a video I made on Volunteers, focusing on the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas and their events leading up to Thanksgiving.  The CAFB is an amazing organization that does so much for our local community.  Everyone I met throughout the process was incredible.

I also took a few shots at the Austin Empty Bowl Project, which far exceeded my expectations.  Thousands of Austinites were lined up at 8 AM just for a chance to buy a bowl.  I don't have room to explain the event here, but watch the video or check out the links.

And, lastly, go volunteer.  You're not too busy and it is literally FREE.  No matter where you live, there's an organization that could use your help.  It is the holidays, after all.  The season for giving.

Lone Star Curling Club

Sorry for the lack of content recently. The Texas Rangers improbable World Series run consumed the past month.

Here is a video I made on the local curling club. Yes, of course Austin has a curling club!
