Amtrak

Here are some photos from my project on Amtrak. Yes, you can ride in Texas. Yes, it is awesome.

These are 35 mm negatives scanned in, so click on the picture itself if you want to see more detail.

Victory vs. Defeat

Amarillo High and Randall High dominated the state tournament a few weeks ago. These photos are from the AHS semifinal. I also shot some video from both finals.

The Past Month

I've spent the majority of my time the past month shooting 35mm black and white film and processing and printing in the dark room. It's been a really good experience so far and, once I spend some time with a negative scanner, I'll eventually post some of those photos.

But I had to post some pictures. These are a few of our favorites from Austin City Limits and then a few unique lines from a UT game.

Tilt-Shift

So if you're like me and can't afford a tilt-shift lens, or you are just bored, this site can help you out. In honor of the Premier League kicking off this weekend, I've posted a picture from the Arsenal v Juventus match we went to last summer. If you need a team to cheer for, American phenom, Jozy Altidore, is on loan to Hull City.

If you want to see real tilt-shift work, check out Vincent Laforet. He came and spoke to our class last semester and his stuff is pretty cool.

Elliot came to Austin

Spent Saturday with my brother, sister-in-law, and niece. She was a trooper during our little photo shoot. I'm a bit biased, but I think we got some really good pics.

Made the trek to Amarillo last weekend and took some pics for a friend along the way.  I'll post my favorites during the next few days.  Click the image for a higher quality look.

My Sister Got Married

It would be impossible for me to post all my favorite photos from the wedding, so these few will have to do.  Family and friends, go here if you haven't seen the rest.  It was a great weekend that ended much too soon.  Congrats to Ashlan and Bryan!  Now how about we hyphenate that last name...Ashlan Jackson-Clements.
