Sorry for the blog hiatus, but the first of the year has been incredibly busy. As many of you know, I got into The University of Texas and am going back to school this semester. I'm currently trying out for The Daily Texan, our student newspaper.
My first assignment was covering a rally in support of Israel and the Palestinian organization that showed up to protest. It was pretty intense and there were some very heated exchanges. It was kind of disheartening to see how much pure hatred there is between the two sides. I'm pretty sure swastikas aren't appropriate in any setting, but one gentlemen didn't think so.
