David Gray

I got to shoot David Gray this past weekend for a photo essay I'm working on. He played Hogg Auditorium which was really cool because it's a pretty small venue with an intimate feel. It was definitely the coolest thing I've ever shot. If you somehow don't know who he is, this is a good place to start. You should also check out this song.

Kinsler's Halftime Show

The Fralick Crew came down last weekend. Tiffany was being honored at halftime of the girls state finals at the Frank Erwin Center. It was the 10-year anniversary of her Canyon Lady Eagles (boooo) team winning the state championship. While waiting for the presentation, Kinsler decided to show off his speed and quickness. The aerodynamic faux-hawk helped. After a few trips back and forth, he decided to hang out with Dad for a little bit.

Austin's Hands at Work

Here are a few from a photo essay on people who use their hands to make money on the street. Food vendors, musicians, artists, etc.

Working Portraits

Here are a few photos from a project where I made portraits of people in their work environment. The project was based on August Sander's work on tradesmen and the working class. I get thirsty every time I look at the bartender photo. Mmmmmm, ice-cold Newcastle.

Bollywood

I shot some Bollywood dancing at Republic Square this past weekend. The dance was the finale to the Bollywood for a Cause game. Afterwards, all I wanted to do was sing Jai Ho.
